The Apartments

Accommodation

We have 2 recently refurbished apartments featuring open plan living, kitchen and dining areas. Both have comfortable bedrooms with double bed, dressing table, case stand hanging rail and bedside tables and lamps. There is a wet room with walk in shower. The kitchens are equipped with hob, oven, larder fridge, micro wave, toaster, kettle, all utensils pots, pans and crockery. Both have a porch area equipped with a washing machine and large drying radiator. An ironing board and iron is also provided. We provide bed linen and towels for your stay. There is underfloor heating throughout and all accommodation is on one level. There is good Wi Fi and a smart TV. The apartments are non smoking or vaping. We welcome up to 2 well behaved house trained dogs at no extra cost. Unfortunately we can not accommodate any other types of pet. Outside there is shared off road parking area with a small garden and lawn area .

Location

We are located within the eastern boundary of the Lake District National park with great road access to the North and South Lakes and the Western Dales . We are 750 feet above sea level in a very rural location so the views of the Howgills and local fells are stunning. It is only a 5 mins drive to the local market town of Kendal with 3 supermarkets before you reach the main town for anything you need during your stay. If you prefer there are plenty of local shops in the town centre.

EV Charging

Due to our rural location having an inadequate supply we are unable to offer any type of electric vehicle charging. There are chargers available at Tebay services (including Tesla points) approx 15 mins away. Chargers in the Lakes and Dales are quite sparse (although increasing all the time) so journey planning is essential if you have an electric vehicle.

For safety reasons (fire regs and insurance) we do not allow the storage or charging of E bikes, E scooters or anything similar in the apartments.
